Do-It! 46 years of feeding needy families in Lucas County.

Toledo, Ohio is rich in beauty, natural resources, art and culture. For this we give thanks as the holiday season approaches. But many among us are struggling to keep their families together, warm and well-fed. The Do-It Group urges individuals, families and businesses who have been blessed with prosperity to join us in helping those in need.

Let's Do-It!

Each year the Do-It Group hosts the "Do-It Party" to raise funds to purchase food and supplies for local families that are down on their luck. We work with local church officials, public and parochial schools, and relief agencies to identify families that can use a little help during the holidays and our members deliver the goods with no questions asked.

Contributions collected at the 2011 Do-It Party allowed us to help 16 families and support the following organizations:

- Helping Hands of St. Louis

- Sylvania Area Family Services

- Racing for Recovery

- Bridge Ministries of the Monroe Street United Methodist Church

- Salem Lutheran Church

- St. Paul's Community Center

- Aurora House

- Friendly Center

Let's make the 2012 Do-It Party even bigger!  It is a tradition that is 46 years strong!

Join us on December 13th at the Players Club (Sylvania and Monroe) from 4:00 PM to ???? for the 2012 Do-It Party!

Members of the Do-It Group sharpen their shopping skills as they purchase Christmas dinner items and supplies at Sautter's in Sylvania. Each year, the Do-It Group raises about $5,000 to help needy families from Toledo Public and Parochial schools.
